Role 3D Artist (2006)

Visualization of the new standard tram stop for the city of Basel, the winning entry by designers Stauffenegger + Stutz. The video is a revision of the one originally shown at the 2006 press conference. This allowed me to further experiment with cinematographic effects such as the Vertigo
Shot
and depth of field blur.

I created the 3D models and textures, which we could then use for print and motion. After that I put the models in different animated city scenes built from panoramic photos, since it was important to see how the design works in the context of historical buildings. The night scene shows how the construction becomes an island of light for people who have to wait.
