This grid of custom resistance-based sensors embedded in a pad of soft
silicone enables us to digitally reproduce the deformation that is applied to the physical object, turning the silicone into an input device.
I designed the circuit based on pieces of carbon-impregnated silicone tubing, which are like conductive rubber bands whose resistance increases as they are stretched.
