I felt compelled to make some of these 360° panoramas in order to document the incredible views I enjoyed during my travels in South America. It’s been done before, yes. But it’s a great souvenir anyway.
Every one of these panoramas consists of about 20 individual shots taken with a Nikon D60 digital SLR, so we are looking at about 120 megapixels each. This was before Smartphones made it incredibly easy to snap photos along a straight line – and a lot of stitching and retouching ensued.
